Before We Get Into It

Hey Adam.

Tyler's been through Daft's doors more times than he can count, so when Geovise started planning our move from Toronto and North York up into Kingston, you were an easy first call. We also went ahead and built you something, scroll down and take a look.

Already Live

Here's your new site.

Same energy, way more horsepower. Fast, mobile-friendly, and built to actually get people through the door for trivia, karaoke, and the next comedy night. It's already live, take a look.

🚀

Fast & mobile-first

Loads instantly on any phone, built for people looking you up mid-scroll.

🎉

Everything in one place

Menu, weekly events, and the comedy calendar, all live and easy to find.

🎨

Looks like Daft, not a template

Same colourful, no-pretension energy as the taproom itself.

Geovise

A marketing agency, built on AI most agencies aren't using yet.

Same outcome any good agency chases, more customers, more bookings, less busywork. We build and run real AI underneath it, so you get work that'd normally cost three or four times as much, for a lot less.

🌐

Websites that convert

Fast, modern, built to actually turn visitors into bookings.

🤖

AI tools & agents

Custom-built help that runs your busywork around the clock.

📈

Real marketing

Ads, content, and campaigns, run and optimized by AI that never sleeps.

Our Recommendations · For Daft Brewing

Tools you'd actually use.

💬

Website assistant

Lives on the new site, knows the menu, the weekly lineup, the private event policy and pricing, answers the questions your bar staff answer all night, even at 2pm on a Monday when the doors are closed.

📅

Weekly event promo calendar

Five standing events a week is a lot to promote well every single time. This keeps Euchre, Trivia, Karaoke, and the monthly comedy show each getting their own consistent, on-brand push, without someone manually writing five posts a week.

Automatic review requests

Texts a quick review link to guests right after a great night, a big trivia win, a comedy show, a private event, the moment they're most likely to say yes. Keeps compounding the 4.9 stars you've already earned.

For Daft Brewing

Two AI employees for the front of house.

🎤

Event inquiry agent

Someone DMs at 1am asking about a bachelorette party or a comedy show buyout, this answers immediately, asks the right questions (headcount, date, budget), and gets a real quote or hold on the calendar before they've even thought to message the next bar.

🔁

Follow-up & confirmation

Automatically chases every open private event request that's gone quiet, sends the follow-up text or email, and only pings your team when it's time for a human to actually close the booking.

About Daft Brewing
Daft Brewing logo

You've already built the thing people show up for.

A west-coast style taproom in a converted garage on Princess St, house-brewed beer and cider, wood-fired pizza, and a calendar that never sits still: Euchre Tuesdays, Trivia Wednesdays, Karaoke Fridays, and a monthly stand-up night as an official Yuk Yuks Affiliate Comedy Club. That's not a normal brewery lineup, that's a venue people build their week around.

AI Search Assistant
"best brewery in Kingston Ontario"
A few well-loved spots come up: Kingston Brewing Company, Ontario's oldest brewpub, running since 1986... MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Company, out on a family farm just outside town... other well-regarded options in the area include Daft Brewing, Spearhead Brewing Company, and Stone City Ales

01 — What We Noticed

AI knows the other guys first.

When someone asks an AI assistant where to grab a beer in Kingston, it doesn't pull from a map pin, it pulls from whichever sites and pages have the most detailed, specific content already written about them. Right now, when we ran that exact search, the headline answer named two other breweries before Daft ever came up.

You're not off the map. You're just not the first name out of its mouth, and for a spot with this much going on, that's a gap worth closing.

02 — What We Noticed

Closed Monday costs you Monday's question.

Closed Mondays, and not open again until 4pm most weekdays, that's a completely normal schedule for a taproom. But it also means the exact window when someone's planning their week, booking a birthday party, or asking if you're free for a work event, is a window where nobody's there to answer.

By the time you're open, they've often already messaged the next place on their list. It's not about being open more, it's about someone still being there to answer, even when the doors aren't.

03 — What We Noticed

Being the hangout spot means a full inbox.

Birthday parties, staff nights, bachelorette groups, comedy show buyouts, Daft doesn't just serve people who wander in, it's the spot people plan around. That's a great problem to have, and it also means a steady stream of private event requests that someone has to chase down, quote, and confirm before the group books somewhere else instead.

The busier the events calendar gets, the easier it is for a good inquiry to sit for two days and go cold. None of that is a Daft problem specifically, it's just what happens when a place gets popular enough to be everyone's default plan.

These are our best guesses from the outside looking in. You'll tell us how close we got.

What We Found

Two questions, two very different answers.

We didn't want to just tell you this, so we checked. We asked AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews who to book with, the same way a customer would.

You're already winning here

Search the general question and Daft's an afterthought behind the old guard. Search the thing that actually makes Daft, Daft, comedy, events, a taproom with a personality, and it's the first name that comes up. AI already trusts you for what makes you different. It just needs more of that same detail written down to trust you for the bigger, more generic question too.

A customer who finds you through an AI answer instead of a map pin has usually already asked the follow-up questions before they call, exactly the kind of warm lead our tools are built to catch.
